The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation is hiring an Administrator to lead the $21 billion agency. The bureau employs 2,600, operates 16 offices, insures more than 280,000 employers and processes over 207,000 claims annually.

The Administrator is appointed by the governor and is a member of the governor’s cabinet. Key responsibilities include claims administration, investment management, risk management, rate setting and employer relations. The Administrator has 10 direct reports and is responsible for an operating budget of $300 million.

Job requirements include a bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration or a related field; and a proven track record of managing a large complex organization.

Compensation package will include a base salary (commensurate with experience and qualifications), comprehensive benefits (e.g., health care, vacation, retirement).
